Hello, I’m Lorelai.
I’m glad you found your way here.
I’m the writer, maker, curious traveler, enthusiastic home cook, lifelong learner, and keeper of the lantern behind Hearth & Lantern.
A place for all pieces of a life.
Hearth & Lantern began with a simple realization: I didn’t want to build a life around just one thing.
I care about meaningful travel and quiet evenings at home. I love learning new skills, cooking something from scratch, getting completely absorbed in a game, making things with my hands,
and asking far too many questions about whatever has captured my curiosity lately.
For a long time, those things felt like separate interests that needed separate places.
Hearth & Lantern became the place where they could finally belong together.
This isn’t a guide to building one particular kind of life. It’s a growing collection of ideas, resources, stories, experiments, and things I’ve learned along the way - shared in the hope that some of them might help you build a life that feels more like your own.
